If the athlete is not using the right fuel then the body will run poorly. 14U is a great age to really start looking at how the athlete is fueling their bodies, and we need to step away from they are kids and we should not start assessing empty carbs to longer digesting carbs. Added sugars where they do not need to be, and the epidemic of the energy drink.
