HAYHA offers equipment rental for U8, House and U10 programs. Equipment rental is $60 for the entire season. Parents will also need to provide a $200 security deposit check which is not deposited, rather held until equipment is returned at the end of the season. Equipment rental days will be announced via email. Equipment rental includes the following:
- Equipment Bag
- Helmet
- Chest Protector/Shoulder Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Gloves
- Breezers
- Knee/Shin Guards
- Skates
- Stick
Additional items you will need to purchase are:
- Long underwear: most players wear lightweight long underwear bottoms and tops under their equipment.
- A jock short: offers protection and convenience when securing hockey socks.
- Practice jerseys: a set of blue and white practices jerseys for $36 are sold by your Board Rep or Team Manager. The U8 and House League also use these practice jerseys for scrimmages and games.
- Hockey socks: these go over your knee/shin guards and attach to your jock short.
- Mouthguard: these are not required but are highly encouraged.
- Skateguards: due to Covid regulations, many practices are requiring players to show up already dressed with skates tied. Therefore you’ll need a pair of skate guards to protect players’ skates as they walk across concrete and other surfaces.
