8U

RANDY BOYSEN- I’m Randy Boysen and I’m a parent to both 10U and 8U kids. I spent last year as an equipment manager for the 8U group. I’m happy to continue to be involved at practice and at the board level and committed to continuing to grow competitive youth hockey in Helena.

JUDY MERICKEL- I love the game of hockey and the HAYHA families.  We have two children playing hockey. Last year, I co-ran the U8s, led the Learn to Skate curriculum, researched/presented Squirt growth options and acted as Secretary. Should you have me, I’d be honored to serve you and your children again.

JUSTIN STECKELBERG- Thank you for the 8U Division Rep consideration.  With 3 boys who played termites/mites over 10 hockey seasons, I understand the joy of the first goal and the pain of a missing glove.  Ultimately, this opportunity is my chance to give back to the hockey community.  Go Bighorns!

10U

KURT MOSER- I’ve been involved with HAYHA for five years with two kids in the program.  I‘ve served four years on the Board, three years with Mites and this year as Squirt Rep. I am committed to continuing to grow our hockey program. I’m an attorney with the State of Montana.

12U

RYAN LILLETVEDT- Hello HAYHA members: My son started playing hockey in 2014. Since then I've learned a lot and come to truly enjoy this sport and the Helena hockey community.  I've been on the board for the last two years and look forward to the opportunity to serve again, if elected.

14U

ROBERT WHITED- As a past Member of the Board I feel it is the right time to become engaged once again.  With a few of our long term Board Members leaving their positions, we need members who have the experience and passion to continue to move us forward on the path that is best for our organization and its members.

HS

SARAH GARCIA- I served as the high school representative on the Board when our oldest son played and am seeking a term now, as our youngest son enters high school.  As the representative, I feel it’s important to serve all players and families fairly, equally, and with the future of the program in mind.

REGISTRAR

DARRYL JAMES- I’ve enjoyed serving as a U8 coach for three years, and look forward to increased involvement to ensure continued growth of the HAYHA program.  My organizational and public policy experience could be valuable as the Board considers scheduling and program modifications to enhance the Helena youth and family hockey experience.

MAHA REP

MEKELL LYBBERT- I would love to represent Helena families at the State level. I’ve had 3 kids play, and have served 6 years on the local HAYHA Board. I’ve helped significantly grow Helena hockey and have welcomed and encouraged many kids to play. I will always stand up for the kids and our community.

SHAWN SCHROEDER- Minnesota native, relocated to Helena in 2003. I have played hockey for 40yrs, and coached for 15yrs including select travel teams and MAHA development camps.  I currently sit on the HAYHA Board and am seeking the MAHA Rep position. Through my 15yrs in Montana I have made numerous hockey contacts across the state, and confident I would be a great asset as MAHA rep.
