2017 - 2018 HAYHA Mandatory Fundraising

Raffle Tickets

Ticket Deadline to Return: FEBRUARY 15th, 2018

Raffle Drawing: FEBRUARY 24th, 2018 @ Bighorns game

Cash Prizes:  1st Place -  $1,000, 2nd Place -  $500, 3rd Place -  $250

Raffle Rules / Info:

  • Each player is responsible for $50 mandatory fundraising raffle tickets for the 2017-2018 season. These are pre-paid for with your HAYHA fees.
  • Each player will receive 10 - $5 raffle tickets to fulfill their $50 mandatory fundraising requirement.  
  • For 8U players, this is $25 or 5 raffle tickets for each session.
  • Players can choose to:

1.Write their own name on the tickets (enter themselves in drawing)

2. Sell the tickets. $ received by the seller (if any) is yours, and NOT due back to HAYHA as you have already pre-paid for these tickets with your HAYHA fees.

  • If interested in selling additional tickets, players are required to pay $25 to Rep/Manager to pre-purchase a book of 10 tickets ($50).  The 50% profit goes to the player directly, not HAYHA.
  • Ticket stubs and money must be turned into your division rep or team manager by the FEBRUARY 15th deadline.
  • Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
  • No more than 2,500 tickets will be sold.
  • Raffle tickets must be sold to people within geographical boundaries of the State of Montana.
  • Winning ticket will be chosen by blind drawing.
  • Winning ticket will be drawn during the intermission of the Helena Bighorns game held at the Helena Ice Arena on Saturday, February 24th.

President's Notes 2017-18


Welcome to the Helena Area Youth Hockey Association (HAYHA) website.  Use this site to keep up to date on all activities for the 2017-2018 youth hockey season in Helena.  HAYHA is a volunteer organization dedicated to serving Helena area youth by providing opportunities to play and enjoy the great sport of ice hockey.  Our mission is to promote good sportsmanship, positive behavior, and a healthy lifestyle for all participants in the HAYHA program.  On behalf of the HAYHA Board of Directors we welcome you to the organization and wish all players, coaches, parents, families, and our volunteers a happy and successful 2017-2018 season.  See you at the rink! 

HAYHA is pleased to announce that Bob Richards has agreed to serve as Coach-in-Chief for the 2017-2018 season.  Bob was selected from applicants for the position created by the HAYHA Board in the spring of 2017.  As the HAYHA CIC Bob will assist the Board with coaching recruitment and selection, player development programs, team tryout and selection, practice planning and oversight, program quality and performance evaluations, and serve as an advisor to the HAYHA Board on USA Hockey ADM program implementation.  HAYHA is excited to have Bob serve as CIC for the organization in addition to his duties as Head Coach of the Helena Bighorns Junior Team.  Please welcome Bob to the HAYHA family and thank him for his commitment to Helena youth hockey!
